Pre-task planning is required for all Hill Group work. It is an informative tool that not only increased awareness for each individual and crew, but it communicates to the crews what needs to be done and is a continuous reminder about staying focused on the hazards that are present everyday and preparing ourselves to control them.
Pre-task plans should always be performed on the job site or work area, not in the job trailer or truck. This allows
you to see the area we are working in and get an idea of who is working around them, what is around them and
are able to spot hazards or conditions that could create a challenge during the course of the day. If during the day
something changes then STOP gather the affected people together and discuss it.
